This invitation for prequalification follows the general procurement notice for this project that appeared in Development Business GPN issuing no.WB1594-702/07 and date “April 23, 2007
The People’s Republic of China intends to apply for a loan from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) toward the cost of Guiyang Transport Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to payments under the contracts for Youxiao Expressway Component. Guiyang Tongyuanroad Construction & Development Co.Ltd intends to prequalify contractors and/or firms for Civil Works for the contracts as described in the following. Applications can apply one or more contracts. It is expected that invitations to bid will be made in February15, 2008.
-Brief Description of Works:
Construction works for Contract YXE-1: Baoshan South Road Interchange, Youzha Street viaduct, Ground layer road projects, underground channel, length 1580m (K0+000～K1+580)
Construction works for Contract YXE-2: Xiaojingju Tunnel project, Subgrade Engineering, Street Flyover, Simple Road Overpass Bridge, length 3743m(Contact Line543m), K1+580～K4+780
Construction works for Contract YXE-3: Subgrade Engineering, Crossing Bridge, Southwest Link Interchange, Overpass Bridge, length 2260m, K4+780～K7+040
-Prequalification will be conducted through prequalification procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, May 2004, revised October 2006, and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries, as defined in the guidelines.
Interested eligible applicants may obtain further information from and inspect the prequalification document at the Procurement Agent (the addresses detailed as below) from office times 9:00 to 11:00 and 13:30 to 16:00 (Saturday, Sunday and Holiday excluded) December 26, 2007. and in Chinese may be purchased by interested applicants on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of CNY 1000/one set or in USD 130/ one set. The method of payment will be casher’s check, direct deposit to specified account etc. The document will be sent by express if the applicants asked and with extra CNY1000 or USD 130 .
